Junior Shark Tank

Age Appropriateness: 8-18

Instructions:

1.     For this activity you will watch an episode of Shark Tank on a TV, laptop, or any electronic device.

2.     Have a notepad or electronic device to write down or record ideas

3.     While watching the episode have your child(ren) get an idea of what an entrepreneur is, how and what they are presenting, and how and what the investors are doing.

4.     After watching an episode have your child(ren) come up with their own idea or product to pitch

a.     This can be realistic or unrealistic the point is to get them to create something of their own

5.     After your child(ren) have their idea(s) let them know that they will have to present their idea to you as the parent as if you were one of the Sharks trying to invest 

6.     Decide whether to “invest” or not
