How to Make Earth Toast

This activity is meant to help kids understand global Warming. An increase in the release of fossil fuels into the atmosphere is one of the biggest reasons for global warming. Children will take a piece of toast, and cut a circle in the middle of it, and then paint the middle of it to make it look like the Earth. Place in toaster. Germ Activity

You Need: Paper Scissors Tape Directions: 1. First, have your kids draw and cut out germs (I provided a sketch I made if you would like to use it as a template) 2. They can color the germs if they desire 3. Once they are done drawing their germs, have them go around the house and stick the germs to objects they frequently touch (toys, door handles, countertops, chairs, or on each other) The purpose of this activity is to show kids a physical trace of where germs can be. It also allows them to see why certain places/objects are more prone to germs than others

Spring Chicks Egg Carton Activity

Since Spring is here and it is Easter season, children can get their families and households in the spirit by recycling egg cartons to make some spring chicks. This activity will get children’s creative juices flowing and fill homes with beautiful creations.
