Instructions
1. Gather the things listed above
a. Choose items within your home that
are easy for the child to find, can be traced on a piece of paper, and have
some distinguishable figure to them
1. Grab one of the items chosen around
the house and trace it on a piece of paper
a. If needed, you can use color to help
the child figure out what that item is
b. Repeat this step as many times as
needed for each different object
1. One this is complete, put the items back around the house where they originally are placed
2. Have the child take a look at the piece of paper. The child is now tasked with using context clues given the shape of the item traced on the paper and the colors you may have used to try and find that item around the house. If the child has some difficulty with this, hints are okay to give.
1. Once the child thinks they know what
that item is, they are to go and get that object and place it inside the traced
area.
1. After the child/children find all
correct items, they are then to put the objects back in their original places.
Enjoy and have fun!
