Ping Pong Ball Catapult

An easy and fun outdoor activity your kids could do is building a catapult. It’s very easy to construct and you could even hold contests with your kids. First here are the instructions to build it

Direction:

1.    You will need 5 objects that you can easily find at home. You need a plastic cup, duct tape, a flat piece of wood, a round container, and a ping pong ball.

2.    First you are going to tape the plastic cup to one end of the wood

3.    Grab a round object (I used a container of baking soda) and place it under the piece of wood

4.    Place the ping pong ball into the cup

5.    Step on the piece of wood and watch as the ping pong ball goes flying

A fun way to make this a contest with the kids is to see who’s ping pong ball can go the furthest. Have them move the container either closer or further away from the cup and have them observe which one makes the ball go further.
